Pastor Gerald Jones was born September 17, 1975, in Seattle, Washington, to Addie Marie Jones of Antwine, Arkansas, and Jerry Wayne Rye of Shreveport, Louisiana. A friend of Pastor Jones’ mother prophesied to her while Pastor Jones was still in her womb that her son would be called to preach The Gospel. He matriculated through the Washington State school system. Pastor Jones accepted the call to Salvation in May of 1994 at Tolliver’s Temple Church of God in Christ (COGIC). Following his born again experience, he received the Baptism of The Holy Spirit in January of 1996.
The anointed Man of God accepted the Call to Ministry in 1999. This inspired him to encourage the people of God in spiritual as well as practical matters. As Scripture states in I Corinthians 2:4-5, “In my speech and my
preaching was not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power: that your faith should not stand in the wisdom of men, but in the power of God.” Pastor Jones moved to Los Angeles, California, in July 2001 and joined West Angeles Church of God in Christ the following month where Bishop Charles E. Blake, Sr. was pastor and Elder Charles Blake II was Assistant Pastor.

Pastor Jones returned to Seattle briefly. There he was licensed to preach in May of 2002 by Superintendent Jamaal Cole, Sr., of Greater Gospel Temple COGIC. He attended Oral Roberts University in August of that same year, majoring in Theology with a minor in Business and Music. Pastor Jones was ordained an Elder in The Church of God in Christ in June, 2013. In 2019, Pastor Jones received an Honorary Master’s degree from Joseph Global Institute University. Currently, he is a Doctoral student and Professor at Next Dimension University.
For ten years, Pastor Jones faithfully held weekly telephonic church services. Simultaneously, he was
a televangelist for nearly seven years where services spanned across the globe, including via The Word Network where weekly broadcasts were seen Saturdays from 11:30 p.m. - 12 a.m. in 93 million homes throughout The United States and in 200 countries worldwide.
Pastor Jones was appointed Pastor of Jesus is our Jubilee Church in Carson, California, in April of 2021, by Bishop Joe Louis Ealy, the Jurisdictional Prelate of Southern California First Jurisdiction, Church of God in Christ. Pastor Jones’ mandate is to reach, teach and save souls. Jesus is Our Jubilee’s Mission is to “Preach The Gospel, Win Souls and House the Homeless.” The following Scriptures are the foundation for Pastor Jones’ mandate: Matthew 28:19, Luke 19:10, Proverbs 19:17
and Psalm 41.
Pastor Jones currently owns his own limousine and real estate companies. His passion and unction is
to ensure everyone knows about Jesus and comes into the saving grace and knowledge of Jesus
Christ as God does not want anyone to perish.
